The VW based Explorer 4×4 Tracking Vehicle (The only long wheel base Amarok pick up in the UK).
The Explorer Elite 4×4 Tracking Vehicle can be used for general camera tracking work as well as carrying smaller camera cranes. The Explorer is slightly smaller than our other tracking vehicles making it ideal in tighter locations. It can be used Off-Road in rough and muddy terrain. It is fitted with Air Suspension which is adjustable to weight and ride comfort. This vehicle can be used for all round camera tracking, “A” Framing. (Smaller cars only) or small camera cranes and Jib Arms. It can be fitted with interchangeable front and rear platforms.
The carrying capacity on the rear work area of this vehicle is for 5 crew, plus equipment. The Crew Cab offers seating for a further 3 crew members and has space for remote head controls. The cab area also has 240v supply, 12v supply and USB sockets.
